NICE TO MEET YOU!
—
My journey began at 21 when I came to Australia to study Graphic Design. Photography, part of my studies, quickly became a passion. The first thing I bought when I started earning was a camera. I loved capturing street portraits on Bourke Street and at Melbourne events, quietly observing and photographing strangers.
Today, while street photography remains close to my heart, I find immense joy in capturing families, mothers, children, and couples. The emotions and stories behind each face fascinate me. As an immigrant student, I never imagined turning this passion into a career. After having my two lovely boys and struggling with a full-time job, my husband encouraged me to take the leap and pursue photography professionally.
Now, I dedicate myself to creating beautiful, heartfelt images that families can cherish forever. The satisfaction I get from capturing these special moments is incredibly rewarding, and I'm grateful to share my passion with you.
I have been doing photography for as long as I can remember, and it’s deeply personal to me. I lost my dad when I was 8, and all I have left are albums of him. Growing up, I didn’t have many memories of him beyond those photos. He loved photography and had a collection of vintage cameras, including an instant camera from the 1980s. Those pictures gave us strength during tough times, and my mom’s locked cupboard full of cameras became my treasure trove. Now, I cherish capturing special moments for others, knowing how powerful and comforting photographs can be.
My photography style is all about capturing those natural, heartfelt moments that happen in between the posed shots. Sure, posing can be fun, but the real magic happens when you're not even thinking about the camera. I love the little, unplanned moments that tell the true story. You'll often see a touch of vintage art, pencil drawings, and watercolours in my work, because who doesn’t love a bit of timeless charm? My goal is to create images that are not only beautiful but also make you smile and maybe even laugh a little.
